IgnitED Find Your Flame

Find Your Flame is designed for students who are still discovering what excites them, what matters to them, and how the two can come together to form a successful career. Across five days, take part in sessions that look both inward, and outward. Participants are encouraged to explore their values, whilst hearing directly from professionals working across a range of fields. The spark moment might come while learning about the travel opportunities that come with working for a global broker, it might come while hearing the passionate and personal story of a successful founder, or from the principles of a sole trader making ethical products.

Each session offers something different — an insight into a profession, a personal story of motivation, a practical challenge or discussion — helping students identify what energises them, what values matter to them, what kind of work feels meaningful, and what kind of life they want to pursue.

The week also includes two Apprentice-style challenges: one exploring sustainability, the other focused on AI. These give students a chance to apply ideas creatively and test their skills in team-based problem- solving.

On the final day, students join cross-subject teams to develop an original product or service that draws on everything they’ve seen and heard. Whether or not they’ve “found their flame” by the end of the week, they’ll leave with sharper instincts, broader perspectives, and a clearer sense of what motivates them — and why that matters.
