ENGINEERING

A practical window into what it is like to think and work as an Engineering professional

IgnitED Engineering

IgnitED Engineering introduces young professionals to the wide variety of specialisms and fields within Engineering, through a hands-on understanding of what it means to think and work like an engineer.

Throughout the week, participants reverse-engineer everyday objects, practise modelling techniques, and explore how engineering impacts daily life.

They explore key engineering disciplines and enjoy several impactful workplace visits, to leading organisaitons in the field of automotive, aeronautical and civil engineering where particiipants will see how professionals solve problems using design, data, and real-world tools.

Across five days, students come to see engineering as more than technical problem-solving, it’s a creative, systems-based approach to improving the world around us.
