IgnitED Business & Finance
IgnitED Business & Finance gives students a fast-paced, hands-on introduction to how businesses are built, how financial strategy underpins success, and the many types of roles that businesses from start-ups to corporates rely on.
Throughout the week, students explore key concepts in business strategy, market fit, and risk. They build financial awareness, learn the language of value, and practise communicating ideas clearly under pressure.
The week begins with a deep dive into how businesses function and a workplace visit to see financial decision-making in action. Two Apprentice-style challenges, one on sustainability and one on AI, push students to apply what they’ve learned in creative, team-based tasks. The week ends with a cross-subject innovation lab, where students combine their ideas with those from other strands to pitch bold, future-facing concepts.
Future professionals will leave with sharper skills, bigger thinking, a clearer sense of how business shapes the world — and how they might shape it too.

IgnitED Dates & Prices

The IgnitED programme offers an immersive and engaging career experience for young people aged 14-17, designed to provide invaluable insights and practical understanding for their future profession.
A portion of each paid registration helps fund a place for a young person who might otherwise be unable to attend, directly supporting social mobility and our mission to widen equitable access.
Registrations close 1st August 2025.
Single Registration
£499 per participant, less than £100 per day for hands-on interactive careers experiences, peer networking, and industry coaching. Before the 21st of July, places can be secured with a non-refundable £100 deposit, invoiced on receipt of a booking.
Group Discount
After 26th May 2025, the standard price of £499 per participant applies. However, if two or more bookings are made together, the discounted rate of £474 per person will be applied. Places can be secured before 21st July with a non-refundable £100 deposit, which will be invoiced upon receipt of a booking.
