About IgnitED

IgnitED creates and delivers experiential learning for young people, bridging the gap between curriculum-based education and real-world understanding required for future success.

Education is a lifelong journey, IgnitED serves as an extension of traditional education through dynamic experiences and in-the-field learning, empowering young people with the knowledge, confidence, and insights they need to thrive beyond the classroom.

Who, What, Why?

WHO
IgnitED brings together education and industry experts with over 20 years’ experience in premium learning and bespoke programme design. We create high-impact experiences that inspire and prepare young people for the world of work.

Our mission is to help bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional readiness. By sparking exploration and passion, we help teenagers build strong foundations for future success.

We launch with a cutting-edge in-person programme that connects participants to real industries, nurturing career confidence and lifelong curiosity. As the world of work evolves, so too will our programmes, keeping learners equipped for the opportunities ahead.

WHAT
IgnitED offers week-long, hands-on programmes for teenagers exploring future careers. Through workshops, guest speakers, industry visits, and peer connections, participants gain practical insight and build networks with like-minded peers.

With professional coaching and a vibrant university setting, each programme delivers an exciting, immersive experience—providing a vital first step towards achieving career aspirations.

WHY
IgnitED is built on sustainability and collaboration, guided by circular economy principles to ensure greater connections between school leavers, employers, and supporting lasting impact for local communities. We focus on supporting local young people by partnering with universities and industry organisations, creating valuable mentorship, resources, and real-world experience for those starting their professional lives.

As a mission led organisation, IgnitED is committed to advancing social mobility and widening access to opportunity. A portion of every paid programme registration helps directly fund a place for a high achieving young person who might otherwise be unable to attend.
