Programme Schedule & Fees
IgnitED offers career experience and industry mentoring programmes for young people aged 14–17 at three university venues. These programmes equip participants with practical industry knowledge, real‑world professional insights, and a network of like‑minded peers to help shape their future ambitions.

PRICES
As a mission-led organisation, a portion of each paid IgnitED registration goes directly to fund a place for a high-achieving young person who might otherwise be unable to attend, directly supporting social mobility and our mission to widen equitable access.
Early Bird Offer
A limited number of Early Bird places are available at Portsmouth and Brighton at £399 per person, a saving of £100 on the standard price.
Early Bird allocation at Surrey is now sold out.
Early Bird places are allocated on a first-come basis until allocation is filled, so we recommend registering soon to guarantee this rate.
Single Registration
£499 per participant for the 5 day Programme.
Less than £100 per day for mentoring from industry professionals, skills workshops, real-world practical challenges, behind‑the‑scenes company visits, certification of achievement, Mentor letter of reference, and peer networking.
Siblings & Friends
A discount of £25 per person is available when two or more participants book together.
This offer applies to siblings and friends, and bookings may be made for different programmes and at different locations.
Residential Option - Portsmouth University
A bespoke residential option is available for the day programme at Portsmouth.
Participants attend the IgnitED programme and stay in catered, single en-suite university halls with full Mentor supervision, a social programme, and all meals included - an authentic university taster experience. For full details and pricing, please see here
Widening Access
We are committed to ensuring that IgnitED is accessible to all young people. If the Programme Fee is a barrier, please contact us directly, we may be able to work with your school or college to help.
Booking & Payment Terms
Submit a booking request to begin your registration and our team will be in touch. Once all details are confirmed, we will secure your registration and issue a programme fee payment schedule. You will have a dedicated point of contact to support you throughout.
Registrations close 1st June 2026.
Registrations made before 1 May 2026 can be secured with a £100 per person deposit, with the balance payable in June.
Registrations made 1st May to 1st June 2026 must be paid in full, with payment received by close of business on 19th June 2026.
Confirmation & Refunds
On the week commencing 1st June 2026, all participants will be notified to confirm their place on the programme and full payment for programmes must be received by 19th June 2026.
If a programme is unable to run due to an unforeseen circumstance, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another programme.
