IgnitED is an exciting 5-day careers experience summer programme held at the University of Chichester - Bognor Regis Campus.

Students aged 14-17 will have the opportunity to explore a career aspiration by taking part in interactive and engaging industry visits, practical workshops, along with character and professional coaching.

Surrounding yourself with other learners who share the same interests and aspirations, will provide friendships and a network of contacts to take with you well into your career.

IgnitED is designed for aspirational young learners aged 14 to 17 who are eager to explore potential career paths through engaging and immersive experiences. Our programme is ideal for young professionals who are:

1. Curious About Their Future: Whether you're already passionate about going into a specific career or still figuring out your interests, IgnitED provides hands-on experiences to help you discover and pursue your path.

2. Passionate About Their Profession: If you love learning in dynamic and interactive environments, our practical workshops, industry visits, and professional coaching sessions, are perfect for you.

3. Looking to Build Skills: IgnitED helps identify and develop essential skills - CV masterclass, interview practice, public speaking, and personal branding. Helping lay the foundation for future academic and professional success.

The IgnitED team brings expertise in premium education, course design, and industry partnerships. Their knowledge is drawn from over 20 years experience with several of the world's leading fee-paying school groups.

Collaborating with local businesses and university faculty, we collectively focus on delivering accessible, yet exceptional, foundational experiences to aspirational young learners.

Students can choose one of the following career options: Medicine, Law, Engineering, The Arts, Architecture, Business & Finance, Marketing and Brand Management, and "Find your Flame" - a course to help pupils discover their career interests.

The programme is held 18-22nd August 2025. Our base for the week will be the University of Chichester, Bognor Regis Campus in England - with regular visits and sessions to surrounding organisations, towns and settings.

Situated just 5 minutes from the sea, the University of Chichester’s Bognor Regis campus boasts the flagship £35m Tech Park, opened by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and which is home to the University’s Engineering, Design, and Creative Digital Technologies departments.

Beautiful Georgian architecture includes three grand mansion houses which mix with other modern teaching facilities.

The safety and well-being of our students are our top priority. We follow and in some cases exceed all government guidelines, having strict safety protocols in place and a safeguarding-by-design approach.

This includes in campus sessions, supervised activities, visits, free-time, and ensuring safer recruitment processes are embedded for our trained staff.

The IgnitED programme has been carefully designed as a comprehensive 5-day experience. Each day builds upon the previous sessions, with interconnected activities and lessons. Attending only part of the programme may lead to a fragmented understanding, as the sessions reference each other and provide a cohesive learning narrative. To get the most out of this enriching experience, the 5 days are included together, but please contact us for any illness or unforeseen circumstances.

Bring comfortable clothing, a notebook, pens, and any personal items you may need for the day.

Refreshment and lunch options are plentiful, the campus has an onsite Costa, and the town’s cafes are a short walk away.

We will provide all materials for the programme, workshops, and activities.
